This. I’ve had to do it 2-3 times over the years (I’ll just note it was always my wife’s or a parent’s car) and as I recall it was always a pretty quick and simple repair.Google, "leather repair in my area" and you should find a few automotive seating specialists or upholsterers that can handle that repair. I would think that such a small tear could be done while U wait and be pretty cheap.
It probably wouldn’t hurt to ask the dealer who they use. Just get a name though, unless you can get it done under warranty as a factory defect, as others have suggested.
Good luck, Mack. I have OCD (clinically diagnosed and fairly well managed), but something like that would have me puckered-up something fierce until I got it resolved.
