Google, "leather repair in my area" and you should find a few automotive seating specialists or upholsterers that can handle that repair. I would think that such a small tear could be done while U wait and be pretty cheap.
This. I’ve had to do it 2-3 times over the years (I’ll just note it was always my wife’s or a parent’s car) and as I recall it was always a pretty quick and simple repair.

It probably wouldn’t hurt to ask the dealer who they use. Just get a name though, unless you can get it done under warranty as a factory defect, as others have suggested.

Good luck, Mack. I have OCD (clinically diagnosed and fairly well managed), but something like that would have me puckered-up something fierce until I got it resolved.

i watched the guy do my Honda. There’s no way you could buy his tools for what it cost to repair the 4” slice in my seat.
That’s what I’m asking slowmachine .. may I ask what was the price to fix it when it happened to you?

Hi Michael,

I use only Duck brand Duct Tape.... We have so many ducks to tape here in the Sonoran Desert!

When I was in Rio de Janeiro as part of the IndyCar officials for three years, The first year, I had to use some Duck brand duct tape on a sharp edge of a fence through which we "flagged" the race during Yellow Flag laps due to vision obstructions the drivers had. I had three Brazilian workers with me...only one of which spoke and read English, a dentist with no formal training. So he sees the tape with the picture of a duck....So he asks me..."Why do you Americans tape ducks?" My answer was "So they cannot move" He nodded approvingly and explained to his two counterparts. They also nodded approvingly....

Best,
Phil

best,
Phil

Wow .. ok little expensive I would think for something that small and quick but I appreciate that !!!
I’m sure it was more expensive to have him come to my house, but it saved us hours of running around, dropping off and picking up the car, etc. Your repair might be easier because of the black color. My CR-V seats are light gray, and required a bit of time and experimentation to color-match the patch material to the seat. I learned a lot by watching and asking questions.

Honestly, based on the pic you posted I personally wouldn’t worry about it unless it gets worse. it just looks like a surface scratch, right? If you own the truck long enough you’ll likely have worse than that, either inside or out.
