In my mind, that is the starting assumption. I’m doing a little looking and floor checking but I suspect a dealer fuel pressure check is in order.

My guess is going to be EVAP hose not secured, no fuel leaking but fuel vapor, it is being vented to the cab from the air circulating inlet door. That design sucks, I can smell washer fluid in mine after I hit the switch.
If you look to the right of the dipstick - you will see the Evap Purge Valve, check all tubing at the valve and the opposite ends where they connect.
I suspect one of them is not secured
