Wow! That's odd! You could probably pull the light from the outside and put some duct tape over the holes behind it. The wires won't let it pull out far but far enough.
does 303 make a Tape?Wow! That's odd! You could probably pull the light from the outside and put some duct tape over the holes behind it. The wires won't let it pull out far but far enough.
Remove the brake light and paint the back of the fixture with a few coats of black.Mine shows when I brake though headliner, had rear window and third brake light replaced. Probably not normal though, I assumed there is padding or something missing.
Yeah I think I'll try something soon. Honestly I got my 2019 used about 3 years ago now and I got it from AutoSavvy which is a dealership that specializes in rebuilt titles they actually have quite a few across multiple states. My truck was stolen and not in and accident and I got a good price so figured why not. Well I checked everything but the back of the back seat lol and about a week after buying it I found that there was a leak and the beginning of mold on the back seat. Long story short, I got a new back seat, new back window, new third brake light. Pulled everything up in the back to check for rust which luckily there wasn't any. It was a hassle with them which I get they are working with smaller margins but all was covered and no problems since, besides that damn light bleed through. Funny thing is they even had a local Ford dealership do the work. By the time I noticed the light I was over having my truck in their shop.Remove the brake light and paint the back of the fixture with a few coats of black.
