I fixed my 22- with factory LED from the deleted Halo’s - I believe from the other threads that the fuse tap is not actually needed for the Alpha Rex ones - I think they have it in the install instructions- (if needed)
Someone that has installed them may confirm
If I am correct- then just follow my Forscan settings and they will work just fine
I wrote a full detail on it - as you will find many posts with different settings and it became overwhelmingly confusing on the correct settings
I fixed that with the proper ones and posted them

On the alpha rex led headlights was plug and play. Only had to plug one wire into under the hood fusebox for running leds, comes with the plug, and instructions where it goes. Had one of the first sets in 19, going strong no problems, and much better lights than any of fords options or led replacement bulbs. Love the start up dance..

iirc the fuse tap was for the DRLs lowering in brightness depending on running lights and parking-headlights on

On my truck not hooking up this wire to fuse box, would cause the regular lights to be the DRL and not the cool DRL led lights, hooking this wire up allowed just the cool led DRL to come on alone. You have to turn the DRL off on the dash display under driver aids.. It is a switched fuse spot... hot when turned on, off when turned off. I hope this helps..

Lets see if I can help

I have not seen the install instructions for Alpha Rex, but I do have a 22

What specific Alpha Rex Headlights? Part or Model #
Did you use the Fuse Tap they call for?
Did you perform any ForScan Changes?
Did you start (With Factory Halos? or LED's?, I am assuming Halo's like mine was, the Delete $500 Credit

I recall a member, not using the Fuse Tap and just used Forscan to get them working correctly.
Forscan changes, moves power around within the headlight assy, that's all it does and I am not 100% certain that the Fuse Tap is actually needed.
I think the intent of the Fuse Tap was for owners without Forscan an alternate way to make them work correctly.
But again, I dont have the Alphra Rex, so I am not certain on those specific headlights as from what I have seen on here, they are the only aftermarket ones that have an external power source, separate from the factory harness.
The headlights (Factory LED) & (Halogens) use the same wire harness and are pinned the same at the connector, the only difference is how the internal circuit board of the headlight itself is wired.
Aftermarkets I believe follow the same protocol.

For an example, Factory Halo to Factory LED, will not work properly unless you use Forscan to adjust internally (Headlight Assy) where to put power for DRL function, move it from Lo-Beam to the DRL Strip

On mine the led drl would not come on unless i wired in the extra power wire that plugged into a fuse slot they said to use. Worked perfect, no forescan ect... i had to turn the regular drl function on truck off, left controls on steering wheel. Under driver aids if i remember the right menu.. everthing else is plug and play.. hardest thing was the install of lights.. trying not to scratch anything.. here is link for the lights,

I see what the OP is talking about, the install instructions have you tap to fuse 24, bit in all the manuals and owners manual show fuse 24 as (Not-Used) and empty, i checked all years in the manuals.
So, If I remember correctly, the PSCM Fuse #19 (10A) fuse is what owners were tapping into, can someone who installed them confirm this for the OP
