I replaced the old flag yesterday! It's the only big flag on a mailbox on our street so it's easy to spot.

In case folks don't know, Lowes has a box at the entrance inside the store that accepts old used American flags so they can be properly disposed of. I think the local VFW might collect them.

We now have an Independence day birthday in the family! My Great Nephew and his wife have a healthy baby boy born a few minutes ago, Tripp O'Neal Hardiman 6lb 13.5 oz

Hanging in there Dave, now that I less restrictions I am doing more each day, building my stamina back up. I start Physical therapy next weds for my back surgery. Heart still gives me some funky bad dizzy spells once in a while but they pass and i carry on!

It's not just the fourth of July. Like only a couple of people here said, it's Independence Day. The day celebrating our break with jolly ol' England. The day we became our own Independent country!
