Welp, guy turned left in front of me. His accord is totaled for sure. The Ranger faired quite well considering the impact. From what I can tell, it’s hopefully only cosmetic. Truck would still drive but the bumper was in the way of being able to turn the wheel so it was towed. Sad day...

I was disgusted for a bit until I realized that I’ll end up getting an aftermarket bumper paid for by insurance. Turn lemons into lemonade I suppose...

I’m torn. I do intend to get a winch-compatible bumper. I like the Warn one a lot but like many others, it just sticks out too far and makes it look like the truck has an underbite. Currently, the only one that isn’t like that is the ADD stealth winch bumper so that’s likely the one I’ll get.

Yea I’ll likely end up getting those smooth flares that Josh Mills put on. I like them a lot and they should line up really well with the aftermarket bumper since they tend to add a little width over the stock bumper. If this does turn out to be purely cosmetic, I’ll probably just order parts do all the work myself with the one exception of the blue trim piece between the grill and bumper. Unless that come pre-painted from ford in which case I could do that myself as well. Maybe save enough from labor to pay for a winch too.

That's the one I've seen that I like the most. I don't think I'll go full bumper replacement unless someone hits it, but I dig the faceted look.
