Thanks fellas !
A little unsure about drilling into the panel , but these set ups look legit ,
Has anyone tried 50# 3M contractor tape? I use it in my kitchens , incredibly sting, resilient against heat/ etc
Just a thought
I’ll drill if i have to

Doug used the tape that came with it and I used the screws. I didn't want to drill holes but they were just 2 small ones into the side where I mounted mine and it holds very tight and secure. The magnet holds up to 45 lbs.

Edit: I know Sid drilled his out too. I think he has around 20 holes drilled inside his Ranger now.:LOL:

Unfortunately I will have to drill. The tape only contacts a small area as the console is curved. It only hold for a little while.....DAMN!! Will make the permanent mount when I get the Redarc and mount the knob in the console. But I will use machine screws instead so I can use nuts on the backside and not rely on the console to hold it.

I was going to ask you how the tape was working out. It's a tough area because there are curves in every good mounting spot plus this magnet really grabs the gun and holds it tight. Even when releasing it you have to give it a fit tug and twist it off. I just used the screws that can with it and so far so good.

How do you like the Kore belts now that you've tried them for a while now?

Love the Kore belts!! The EDC tactical is the everyday belt right now. Haven't used the dress EDC belt yet but I know it will work just as well. I feel it is even better than the $100 Comp-Tac belt. Is there any thing else you can make me spend money on?:bandit:

Lol I think of something. :giggle:

I'm glad you like it I think it's one of the best ones out there for the money. You can have a cheap holster and it'll still support it good. Hmm speaking of holsters...I love my Alien Gear holster;)

Anything is worth drilling if you're willing to commit :)

You can quote me on that:LOL:

Ohhh, I just did! I will commit eventually. I installed a CB into my brand new 2015 Goldwing. I had to drill into the side of the trunk to install another antenna. It took me 2 weeks to decide to drill the hole and on the day of the drill....it took me 2hours to actually build up the nerve to do it!!

So am I and you didn't look good enough lol

But you're in luck I have the link for the OWB right here. :D I have the Cloak Belt Holster and it's really comfortable. The sweat shield is nice when it's hot out it helps wick the sweat away from you. The best thing with these holsters is you can buy new holster shells for different guns for $15.88. You just pop off one and attach another so you're not spending a lot of money having a bunch of different holsters for all your carry guns.
