Has anyone with adaptive cruise control installed this?​

Looks pretty easy to do with the exception of removing the lower grille due to the cheap clips that tend to break.​

Check Mountain 2 Metal for their insert. I have the adaptive and I purchased their full across insert, and it goes in without removing the bumper or anything. Installs with just the 5 push pins already there...less than 5 minute install

I have and it works great. You have to remove the trucks lower valance. I did that without any breakage. It has been on the truck for at least 6 months.

Yeah I saw those but figured it would interfere with the ACC

Have you tested it with ACC? It seems like it would interfere with it. I know they make one with the cutout, but it's a more involved install.

Does not interfere at all. Used acc on recent trip on I-81, no problem. Don't use the acc too much around town...too much stop n go, but on interstate acc works perfectly. I have the full mesh version from M2M.

I have the Putco grille, it was a fairly simple install and no matter what you put in there it's going to be better than nothing at all. Plus it just looks more finished. It kinda sucks how we have to put the finishing touches ourselves since Ford didn't think it was necessary....

You installed the one made for ACC. I would prefer this over the one without the cutout, but with the one like yours you have to remove the bottom cover. I heard it's really easy to break those clips. Not sure I want to take that chance.

Did the insert come with instructions btw? I just ordered one seeing as I saw you put the exact one in! I'm nervous about the clips....

Probably too late to help the OP but for anyone reading this thread for reference purposes, I also have the M2M, it installed in under 5 minutes and doesn't interfere with the ACC at all.
