Hi Chris, I am assuming that FORD couldn't find anything wrong with your current Ranger? You would think on a test drive that they would feel the problem like you do? A bronco would be pretty cool though if you really don't need a pickup in all reality. Good luck with your decision. I absolutely love my Ranger!

I’ve seen a couple of YouTube reviews stating the Sasquatch package is not great on the highway, so if you’re driving 150 miles a day, I would research that question.

Yeah. That's what's got me a little concerned. And no dealers around here will let you drive em either....I really don't want to go from the worst vehicle I've ever owned on the highway (Ranger) to something even worse.

Dang Chris, I'm sorry to hear your Ranger is letting you down. From experience, if your a truck guy you will never be happy without one. I've tried, and it didn't work out worth a damn for me. I traded my '13 F-150 Platinum for a '19 Jeep Sahara, and it didn't take long before I realized I was lost without a bed to hall stuff. So, the Ranger was ordered.

I reserved a big Bronco in Oct. of '20, got screwed when Ford changed the allocation formula, and just canceled my order. But, from what I learned from a test drive in a 4 dr Big Bend w/2.3L is the engine was fine. But, I can't say if it would be the same with the Squtch package. However, I never heard anyone grumble about the power that owned a 2.3L w/the Squatch package. With that the thing that most were not happy with was the mpgs. It's nowhere near what Ford has listed. And with the 4:73 gearing, while it will move that Badlands down the road, I would think the mpgs would suck. Just some food for thought. If none of those things matter, I think you would be happy with a Badlands. Good luck on your decision.

Thanks for the kind response. I definitely have given the issues you mention lots of thought. I hadn't had a truck for many years since my reg cab 94 f150 manual I had for two years back in the day. As long as I can pull the teardrop, I should be good. I bought the Ranger because I couldn't get a Bronco two years ago. I also like the idea of my tools and stuff being inside instead in milwaukee boxes on my pull out bed under the tonneau cover...I use the truck mostly like I would the Bronco.... so not sure I'll miss it too much except for the occasional plywood delivery.... which I can use a trailer for for those rare times I need to.

It's kinda funny that it's the exact opposite in that I would be happy with another Ranger...if I could just order one...but all that I can get now is the Bronco.

Nice,
I wanted one for the manual transmission.
Played around with adding the Sasquatch package.
I like 99% of 4wd owners, do not off road, so it would have been a waste.
MPG is what I needed most. Hell, the tremor is overkill for what I need.

Well, I've grown so annoyed at my Tremor vibration as I've been driving 75 miles each way to my returned to work after a few years of remote work. The vibration/shudder annoys me almost every mile as it shakes the seats, the mirrors and it can even be seen in the reflection of the hood. It's in my face the entire 3 hours of driving each day! I drive by at least three Ford dealers each way, so I decided to stop in and chat with someone new yesterday and ended up getting a line on a 23 Bronco Badlands, 2.3 with Sasquatch package. It is scheduled for build Jan 9 and I have the VIN...so it's not quite a ghost Bronco, but understanding that delays are still possible. My lease on mine is up in Feb 23, so I need to move on something. I've got some reservations regarding towing my teardrop with the heavy 4door Sasquatch package....

I'd be interested to hear others' thoughts on this move, particularly if you've got some first hand experience with the Bronco.

I was the other way around. I had a 2dr 22 Badlands on order 4 cylinder stick. I waited 9 months and still didn't have a build date. I needed a vehicle. So I looked at Rangers and found a loaded 22 Ranger Cyber Orange, Splash, 302A, XLT, FX4, Screw. I'm glad I got my Ranger no regrets, I really needed more of what the Ranger offered in towing and load capacity. And in the process I got more vehicle for $7k less.
