I have a grasshopper 335 lawnmower bought from Johns lawn equipment in Live Oak Fla….this is my 4th grasshopper I have bought from Johns who I have been dealing with for 25 years …This year he sold the business to Agri Pro … total service from Johns, Blades, oil and all filters pickup and return next day $200.00….

so, I sent it to Agri Pro for the same service took nine days and $500.00 to get it delivered back.
never again…

Dang, that sucks. I just bought a Spartan SRT XD, 37hp Vanguard. I like it so far, it's a beast. Had a Kubota ZD326 before it, a little heavy at 1900 lbs. I do all the maintenance myself once a yr. Then change blades as needed. $200 for all that is a great deal. The air filters were $100 for my ZD326.

Sorry to hear that. Things like this are the reason that I sold my John Deere lawn tractor and snowblower attachment. For the cost of storage and maintenance for the Deere, I hired a local guy to do mow and plow. Saves me tons of time and effort, at very nearly the same annual cost.

My brother has a Grasshopper zero turn for his 4 acres in Ky. He's always done his own maint an it's starting to need a lot, he's had it for over 15 years. He has a local dealer that he likes. They get him the parts he needs at near on line pricing but with far better customer service. Hope you find a better shop.

Seems like service and prices are suffering everywhere due to the pandemic. Shops can’t get people to work or parts to work with. That could have something to do with it.
