I posted this somewhere in the past.
IIRC the bulbs are dual filament, but the socket only has 1 set of contacts and of course no wires in the harness.
Ford must get a better price on a bizzilion dual filament bulbs vs splitting the volume between dual and single.
Who knows.
But I have some LEDs for 3 years now that are working fine. On my phone so sorry o link.
