Broke in the truck with a road trip to North Texas. On the way back we drove though Ranger, TX so I decided to pull over and snap a pic. Unfortunately there were no rangers sitting inside the vehicle at the time.

yall remember when ranger used to have a hill on i20 ? they nearly flattened it out. kinda miss it.
That hill was a nightmare during winter storms. Traffic would back up for miles while motorists tried to get up it. Usually some 18-wheeler would jack-knife and close the whole thing down and cars would just sit.

But in moderate weather, it was a pretty cool place.

it certainly could be dangerous in bad weather. First time I ever saw a car on fire (in real life, not on tv) was at Ranger hill. Growing up my grandparents lived on a farm out side Dyess AFB and going over Ranger hill always seemed to be a fun moment for me. Being over the hump meant I was more than half way to the destination. Lots of cool places to see headed West that way. Maybe a future Ranger truck meet in Ranger Texas lol.
