since we don’t get an engine cover, I could order one but can’t help but wonder. Any of the other 2.3 eco boost have covers that might fit? Maybe a little nicer one is out there.
I do believe that would be due to transverse mounting for FWD vs. RWD longitude mounting ....but I am far from an expert in these new motors.RS is much different than Ranger. My guess is they are all different.
Agree. It would be interesting to see the one on the EB Mustang since it is also longitude mount. Also note the oil fill and check locations.I do believe that would be due to transverse mounting for FWD vs. RWD longitude mounting ....but I am far from an expert in these new motors.
I believe it you turned it sideways they would be the in same locations, they seem to be slightly offset on both; accessory interference would be the issue. thats my question does anyone have any photos or trial fit info?I believe it you turned it sideways they would be the in same locations, they seem to be slightly offset on both; accessory interference would be the issue. I agree that a EB Stang cover may fit...possibly even an EB Explorer cover
Also the Ranger one is bolted in place and the RS one uses a ball and socket snap in attachment.I believe it you turned it sideways they would be the in same locations, they seem to be slightly offset on both; accessory interference would be the issue. They do not look the same or even similar to me. The size and fastening method is also different.are they in the same spots? is the dipstick in the same place?
