Sturdy. it mounts onto the factory license plate bracket like a license plate. The light bracket is metal. No prob so far. If you have an ACC, this was my solution not to block it.
Not so sure I would want to hang much weight on the license bracket. Mine busted from a bump I didn't even notice and started wearing the paint on the bumper. The plastic is pretty brittle, especially in cold climates.

I've had them on quite awhile now. The light bar is not as heavy as people think. The lic. plate bracket is also pretty strong and is bolted on. I have absolutely no problem hitting hard bumps and stuff. It doesn't hit the grill either. The bar arcs perfectly with the curve of the grill. The bracket fits the same way a license plate would. We don't need front plates here so the mount fit right into the grooves and I mounted the flag plate over that.
