anyone using dog steps
looking for something like this for a dog of 45#s but NOT in the $200+ price range
Thinking she will take to steps better than a ramp.

Not super useful, but...
I used to keep a two-step Rubbermaid step in the garage for the big dog & then toss it in the bed so she could get out, but that was back when tailgates weren't ribs-high on a tall person. My in-laws tried ramps & gave up, also settling on a step stool.

I use those for my dogs.

Steps when unfolded.

Super sturdy, got 'em from Amozon, can't find the link right now but will if somebody wants it.

Why not just lift your little cat into the bed?

there aint no way my cat would want to go for a ride.

My dog rides in the back seat and I do lift here into the truck and have to lift her out but getting her out is a bit awkward so just was looking for something better but didn't think the sturdy looking steps would be so expensive.

You need a lift for the lift...

I bought some folding steps but they don't work very well for loading my dog directly in the backseat. The problem is with mine the backdoor does not really open wide enough to fit the steps in straight. I can kind of make them work at an angle but it isn't very stable and rubs against the inside door panel.

They do work better using the front door though as there is more clearance. So I just load my dog through the front and let him walk over the center console to the back.

I like this idea for loading my pup in. Just a side question, do you or anyone have good reco's for back seat (supercab) cover? Maybe one that bridges the two seats? Thanks.
