Looking to get some LED exterior lamps for my 2020 Lariat S/Cab, in particular all 4 side markers and the front turn signals.

The side markers call for 194's, but on the fence about light output (HP3 vs. HP5), while I do want them to be noticed, I don't want to blind anyone either. All 4 will be the appropriate color, it's been my experiences that white LED light output behind a colored lens looks weird.

Same for the front park/turn signal lamps, HP11 or XP80's? FYI, Hawaii motor vehicle code prohibits running white parking lights, both parking and signalling lamps must be amber in color (for the front). That rules out the switchback lamps.

I've already decided that the license plate lights will be white HP3's, mirror turn signals will be amber HP3's.

advice? suggestions?

I went with the HP3 side markers and HP11 turns. The side markers are plenty bright, only a little bit brighter than the stock halogens, which is the way I wanted it. The turns are plenty bright in the running stage, match really well with my Raptor-style grille lights. But I would like them to be a bit brighter when flashing. I feel like they might get a little lost when the headlights are on.

Thanks Matt for your response,
I'll go with your suggestions, the HP11 parking/turn signals lamps should fit my needs, I have the stock Lariat grille. The lamps are a bit pricey, but what price for safety?
If the quality of the product reflect's their excellent customer service response to my questions, than I am sold.
Agree?

I did hp3s for mirror turn signal, rear license plate and side marker. I've always had good luck with their products before.

I did generic leds for the front turn signal leds and those seem to be working just fine so far as well

Agreed. I swapped out 5 bulbs for LEDs for $100 including shipping, so in the grand scheme of things that's a drop in the bucket and a good deal to get longer lasting safer bulbs in my opinion. I've been waiting on Diode to create a working low beam LED bulb (they have one that's the correct type but won't fit under the Ranger dust covers) before I swap those out, since they seem to have such good quality and service.

Thanks Matt,
Now I am going to focus on interior lighting, including the glovebox, the stock lighting is too dark for me. The only ones I won't touch are the visor vanity mirrors, I don't think that those are serviceable anyway.

Swapped out halogens for the cool white hp5. Looks super bright. Happy with the switch.
