Not a big deal with those of Mexican heritage....Cinco De Mayo denotes a single battle where the Mexicans defeated the French....It is not Mexican Independence day which is Sept 16th. Here in Green Valley the Sheriff Dept. sets up sobriety check lanes on the main drag. A good day to stay home with car keys on the dresser...

For me....couple beers with my buddy at his house and then Bar-B-Que of some dead chicken for Margie's and my dinner.... no Tacos....
