For those with Navigation you can put the coordinates in the Truck Navigation (address) and it routes just fine. I put in the BlackRock Ranger Station and the Camp listed in the 1st post and it routed me all the way there on the forest roads.

Start from the Blackrock Ranger Station / Blackrock Visitor Center

• 36.09419, -118.26464

Head north on 21S03 / Blackrock

Turn right on 21S36

• 36.12802, -118.26059

Keep left at 20S22 (dirt road)

• 36.15618, -118.24147

Turn left to start on the Monache 4x4 Jeep Trail

• 36.16233, -118.23269

Continue north. The Monache Jeep Trail crosses into the Inyo National Forest and curves right at Snake Creek.

• 36.17916, -118.20853

Continue straight into the Meadows or turn right to the first camping area on 20S03A

• 36.19631, -118.18142

My wife and kids decided they wanted to go camping so this time I'm going to pass. But next time I'll have my rear air locker installed and most likely be there! Looking forward to it!!!!

Not near as fun without a camp fire, ranger said only propane stoves could be used. What say you burgerblaster?

I'll be there. I have almost everything in terms of camping and recovery. Might even have a propane fire pit.

GOOD NEWS! I just spoke to the ranger 760 549 9533, things we needed to know:
1. No open fires (Wood or charcoal)
2. Propane cook stoves and fire pit okay.
3. camping permit not required.
4. Fishing licenses are required.
5. BARBless Hooks
