I know, and what's really messed up is the way they spell Foxboro.

Should be the same as Marlborough and they're only around 30 miles apart.🤦‍♂️
It probably has to do with 17th century literacy. While researching our family ancestry, my grandffather came across a will of my 10th grandfather who apparently died in 1679 (no discoverable birthdate) His name was Samuel Gile, my mother's maiden name, and in the two paragraph document both names were spelled, Samul Gill, Sam Gille and Samuel Guile.

BTW, I am also a direct decendant of William Bradford, who came over on the Mayflower and later became first Governor of Massachusetts, and it turns out so is Clint Eastwood, so get off my lawn!

Talk about going from the freezer to the oven. Now watch out for the rapid melting and flooding in some areas.

The mid states and east coast are going to be heating up quick in the next couple weeks. But there "could be" another cold front mid March if the polar vortex drops back down from Canada. It's not over 'till it's over baby. lol

These cold fronts could make for some very active severe weather. Glad we're out of AR now those were some brutal storms out there

There is rain in the forecast starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing all the way through Saturday for here in North Texas. We need a good rain, the gravel road has turned into chalk again. Drive down it at 20 mph and stop and a cloud of dust rolls past the truck.

Record warm temps will be heading towards the east and N'east. But it's going to flip again and another cold front will be coming right behind it. We've had a few cool days/nights (which have been nice) after record setting 90's in February but it'll be high 80's this week but nights are still nice and cool in the low - mid 50's. :sun::tumbleweed:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/record-warmth-brings-early-spring-131500739.html

Monday Through Wednesday

Another surge of record warmth is expected the first half of the week ahead. And this one is expected to push into the entire Northeast.

Monday's record warmth may extend into the upper Midwest as far north as Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, with highs in the 60s, perhaps even low 70s.

Tuesday, that record warmth shifts east. Washington and perhaps even Philadelphia could flirt with 80 degrees, and 70s should push into at least parts of the New York City tri-state.

This being spring, you probably knew this warmth wasn't going to last long.

A pronounced pattern change is expected to pull colder air southward from Canada beginning Tuesday in the Rockies and Plains, then pushing to the rest of the South and East on Wednesday. That could be followed by another cold front Friday into next Saturday. Temperatures will be up and down for much of the week ahead.

So, enjoy the spring warmth while you can through this weekend, before this change arrives.

We had a couple of weeks with some nice 70 to 80 ish degree days. With some rain mixed in here and there. Not the case today, trucks thermometer was showing 37 degrees when I left to make the run to Braums for breakfast and 40 degrees when I got home from Bonham. 🤦‍♂️

There was some crazy storms Thursday - Friday across most of the west and central states with several tornados touching down in a few areas of Oklahoma and Michigan. Sadly 6 people died in these and many houses and businesses were wiped out along its path. I was watching Ryans live feed the other night and he has a few different storm chasers out there and I'll say that those guys are crazy. Most are trying to get away from the tornados and here these guys are driving towards them. lol Hopefully Morgan @veedubtuner area was ok because at one point I saw the storm heading up towards the NE corner of the state and towards Joplin, MO. 🌪

This is in Fairview, Ok.

At least our forest fires don't blow houses away. If you live in the wrong spot they might burn it up! 😲

And most times you have a few days warning where the fires are heading. I know the winds can change the path quickly but you still have time to pack some things and get out.

We have our monsoons down here. Most are quick passing storms that will drop a huge amount of dust followed by intense rains for 10-15 minutes on average then they're gone. Occasionally there will be some hail depending on the cold front. I'll say it again I'm so glad we're out of the mid west and that whole path of bad weather!

Very true. Our worst worry here is did we get enough snow pack... which we haven't in my region. 😔

I'm good. I was hoping one would take out the apartment complex monstrosity that's currently being built at the beginning of my street, no luck unfortunately.

Glad to hear your area didn't get hit.

lol on the apartment complex! 😂 I know what you mean though, they were building the same up in Goodyear as we were leaving a couple years ago. They're all over the city up there now and they're ugly as sin! They pretty much ruined the are with them and those tiny houses. 🤬

We have those ugly things up and continue to go up all over north Idaho. My town, Post Falls, had one small complex from the late 70s then all the subsidized garbage in the 2000s and our city council went nuts. I try to vote them all out every time. 🤬 Does not bring the clientele you want for a once farming and lumber mill town.

Warm here today and most of tomorrow. Almost all the snow is gone. Then back to cold with flurries the end of this week. Woodstove still cranking every morning. About 10 weeks left until it's safe to plant outside so starting my garden plants.
