As some have reported, the B&O system has hardware differences vs the base with the 8” touch screen. I’m OK with that, but was wondering if the B&O tweeter was installed on one of the lesser systems would there be any impedance or fit issues?
Just trying to get more of a “studio monitor” sound and the stock tweeters (non-B&O) are either too muddy or too harsh depending on the Treble setting.
I have to run it at -3 to avoid the harsh sound on classic rock WAV and FLAC files played off my phone, but this dulls out the sound.
For someone looking for just a bit more clarity without harshness, would the B&O tweeters work or would I need a whole new amp and head unit?
Trying to stay with stock options until my warranty runs out, then I’ll go all out with component 6.5” mids, 1” silk dome tweeters, and a 10 or 12” sub powered by a separate amp…but that is down the road…
