Hmmm, I could swear that mine come on when the wipers are on.

Or maybe that's my Jeep.

Now I'll have to remind myself to check.
I think they do come on when wipers are on. But I'd have to check the manual. But I think they have to be on, not intermittent.

You must have a very intelligent daughter. Insert 200lb deer in place of the little stick people. A deer a few yards on the side of the road is only 1 second from being "in" the road.
"The difference between low and high beams is that low beams are used for normal nighttime driving while high beams are used in rural areas or small roads with very little or no light at all.

Low beams are angled towards the road and should be always kept on in low light settings while high beams are angled upwards for extra light and should only be used for very short periods of time as to not blind other drivers."

Yep, you're right.

NOBODY else drives rural roads with wildlife around. And despite everybody else saying they don't have a problem (your problem at least) with the way they operate, it must be flawed.

Typical. The problem is everybody/everything else.

You've been given multiple solutions to try here. Pick one and move on. No amount of bitching is going to change the way they operate.

Sitting in mine right now in the driveway. No auto headlights with any wiper setting.

That said. I'd like that to be a feature/do that
