Are the STX seats that much better?

Funny thing, everyone has a different perspective, expectation and need. If I could have gotten an XL for the price I got my XLT for I would have in a heart beat, the less automated BS the better for a dedicated huntin/trail truck, but the November/December incentives made XLs more expensive than XLTs ! So I picked up my XLT with a smokin price tag..... just some strange logic from Ford corp.

I'm really happy with the seats and features in my XL. the fabric seems really high quality, and I didn't notice any comfort differences between the higher end seats. I got copilot 360 so the instrument cluster screen is upgraded, but I prefer the manual controls for the heat/ac in the center. the smaller screen is no problem for backing up for me, or connecting a trailer. it isn't super clear when you zoom in for the hitch, but still good enough to get it hooked up.

I started the thread drift, so . . . I have a chronic back injury that makes twisting around difficult. My eyes are getting blurry (but still able to get my license without using lenses). I don't plan to do very much towing but would like a hitch for accessories.
I've never had a vehicle with a camera so I dunno--but not being able to dim the 8" screen would truly annoy me, I think.

You might check with others here but I think the screen dims when the headlights are on.?

I have the STX as well, and test drove the XLT, I don't recall much of comfort different between the two? I don't use the back up camera for my back up, maybe a quick glance on it to make sure there's nothing in my way when I do back up.
