ARB Compressor Question

I am sorry the OP is acting this way in a group forum. I do not understand some people's lack of civiity. He himself stated if you do not like something or cannot contribute just move along. Something he did not follow with his own advice, ignore and more on.

Personally, I believe he could better spend his $$ on a good cordless impact gun, like I did for 20 years at racetracks around the country, while racing my Shelby race cars.

The advantage of the ARB is that you have it with you, when you need it and have lots of patience in using a pneumatic tool.

Perhaps you didn't understand what was being asked either? This isn't a question of Electric Tools. This is a question about a particular Air Compressor and Air Tank being used with Air Tools. I already understand that there are a handful of individuals on here that have done such. I'm hoping they may still be around and be able to give input on the experience. That experience may be positive or negative. If you don't have said experience then clearly you can't contribute.

I have no reason to move along, as I was answering your question.

If you were to glance at my avatar you would have noticed I am an ARB fanboy, as well as a test owner for Ford Performance where I got to test the Summit Bumper for ARB.

I didn't realize I had to state I actually have an ARB Compressor, pardon me. I do (CKMTA12), it is installed under the hood, where it is not recommended to install, and works flawlessly.

While the advertising does state pneumatic tools can be used, my experience is that they don't work too well as the compressor gets too hot and I don't want to limit the longevity of the compressor.

What I do use is one of my pancake compressors to run my impact gun as I swap out my separate set of mounted wheels and tires for street tires when I am making long runs on the interstate, to save my KO3s.

I shall reiterate for those that doesn't want to understand.

First and foremost I am asking about a particular Air Compressor and Air Tank Combination. I don't care about other combinations as they do not relate.

Second, this is not a Air Tool vs Electric Tools. I'm already aware of the advantages of the two and where one would be better than the other depending on the situation.

If you do not have the answer to the question, then don't bother answering.
