Thank you for posting back! How do you know the CEL was caused by the pressure on the rail?
I have also installed a Racechip on my 2.2, yet I have not driven it a lot. It definitely seems a lighter car. On map6 and 7 I can hear more of the high pitch cold diesel engine clatter. More turbo sound too.
The TDI chip promisees a lot of increase especially in HP. For my engine, RC claims 190hp while TDI claims 211. Huge difference compared to the stock 160hp.

Checked the code with Forscan. It happened twice on the highway under full throttle.
All the tuning box companies tend to way over exaggerate their power increase claims, I think the Racechip claim sounds more accurate. A remap usually gets better results but then you can't resell it and it's traceable.
I looked at the Racechip for my Biturbo as well but TDI tuning had a good Black Friday sale on so I went with them. Is your 2.2 a manual or auto?

Appreciate this is an old thread, but thought I’d chime in on tuning & boxes since I’ve had 3 of them over the last 2 years. Obviously these are my own personal experiences, others may disagree.

I have a 2019 Ranger Raptor (2.0 BiTurbo), AdBlue removed, 240hp gearbox map installed, DPF back exhaust to side exit (some pics below). AdBlue removal makes some decent difference to these things, as well as the gearbox map installed by PAC tuning. You only really feel the grunt from the gearbox map up the top end (motorway speeds), but makes a great difference, including the way the gearbox shifts/picks gears.

DPChip (installed and removed before the other mods above)
Pros:
Unit is well made, waterproof. Does provide a torque increase which you can feel.
Cons:
Very expensive, only boosts pressure in the fuel rail. Makes the gearbox jump all over the place when trying to pick a gear.

Unichip X (installed with the other mods above)
Nothing good to say, couldn’t tell it was plugged in no matter what mode it was in.

Bluespark Automotive Pro+ Boost (installed with the other mods above, still running for just over 7 months now)
Pros:
Plugs into the boost sensor and the fuel rail, genuinely has so much more poke. Fraction of the price of the other two as well. Has a cold start function as well as Bluetooth control if you tick that option.
Cons:
Unit itself isn’t ā€˜submersible’, but everything inside is invaded in a huge blob of silicon. The highest map setting gets a bit lumpy on idle when the outside temp is around 30°C, but dropping it down one setting seems to resolve this.

Hope this helps.
