If there's anyone out there that's managed to snag one of these unicorns for their 5' bed, I'd love to see pics of it mounted... All I've seen is the M on big/fullsize rigs.

I'd like to see pics of this setup too. I'm more interested in the Alu-Cab setup though

I'm accepting delivery of my super pacific switchback X1 around the end of the year. Can share photos when I have it installed.

My wife and I considered the project M, GFC and Alu-cab, but the lead times are insane right now. Spencer and the folks at Super Pacific are awesome, and the pricing is reasonable. We really fell in love with the customization aspect of the unit, because we want to do our own build out in the bed.

That's a really nice setup. The site does not have the Ranger listed as an option. I would love to see the installed pics when you have them. Thanks!

Well, I pulled the trigger. Will need to wait 'till Mar... but I doubt I'd do much with it over winter anyhoo...

Yea, it's expensive, but I visited their shop to check them out.. Amazingly well build. for what you get, it's crazy light weight, etc. I think it's worth the premium over things like a GFC, etc...

March!!! That's insane. I use my truck for outings almost every weekend. You have patience. There's no way that I could spend thousands of dollars and not see the product for that long. Did you swap out suspension components to handle the extra load? I am looking at the Old Man Emu leaf springs to add extra payload over stock. How about the rest of the suspension? Any changes?

Congrats on the purchase btw.

Yea, but I'm just getting into the more backcountry type camping, so I'm setting up my truck for more solo stuff with a cot tent, etc. Scout out areas, etc. Then when weather is better I'll have camper to drag wife and kid. :)

Not doing anything out of the gate re suspension. I have the FX4, the cap is only 400#... There's such a crazy rake in the truck now, that the cap will basically work as a leveling kit. :)

and yea, it's REALLY unlike me to wait that long on stuff. Hell, between the time of thinking, "I need a truck to start doing some overland stuff" and finding and buying the thing was like a week. :)

Just found this thread - did you get the Switchback? Really curious since they don't mention fitting the Ranger on their site. I'm also in the Seattle area and wondering how it's worked out for you in our, ahem, damp climate.
