@HeatXfer you have any luck? I have been exploring this same path because my rear view camera is obstructed right now with my swing out bumper and I can mount the Wolfbox camera up on my cap.
I have. SP does most of the work for you and leaves you about a meter of cable in the left rear of the unit. I used posi-tap connectors and merged them with the brake light wiring harness of the driver side tail light. There’s a diagram floating around on the forum that calls out all the wires...
Yep, an integrated RTT and cap. You can breakdown the sleeping platform when the wedge is deployed so you can stand up in the bed. Very similar to a go fast camper, but much higher build quality.
I found where the majority of the water was coming from. Had a poor seal on the front of the fuselage where I am feeding solar in. I sealed it up with butyl tape and plan to add some loom as well as an additional prevention measure. Regardless, I did end up buying a wind fairing from Front...
I am still having issues with water weeping into my bed area. I ended up patching with Butyl tape, as others suggested earlier in the thread. It seemed to initially help, but now I'm not so sure. We just had some pretty heavy rain in the PNW and I just noticed my bedrug was soaked.

Have some additional mods on it that aren’t shown in the photos (Solar panel, cross bars w/ski rack). Will post again after I can give her a wash, pretty filthy after several ski trips.
Thanks for starting the thread. I was one of the first 5’ Ranger installs last June (2019 FX4).
When SP did my install in Portland, they didn’t know how to treat the odd holes the bed has in the front corners of the bulkhead. They tried to plug things up the best they could with foam blocks...
I pulled the trigger on a set of satin black RTRs this weekend. Looking at buying some tires today for cyber monday. Any insight if 265/70R17 will fit without rub with these? I went with the 17x9 +30, and I'm totally stock w/FX4. I saw some discussion on this in the tire fitment thread, but...
I'm accepting delivery of my super pacific switchback X1 around the end of the year. Can share photos when I have it installed.
My wife and I considered the project M, GFC and Alu-cab, but the lead times are insane right now. Spencer and the folks at Super Pacific are awesome, and the pricing...
