I recently traded in my 2015 Mustang GT for a 2020 Ranger XLT. As the Sync head unit is pretty damned good, we had the option to add an amplifier to the factory head unit with a harness (Hextall) that fed directly into an external DSP then onto your amps using standard RCA jacks and a Forscan bit change. Doing it this way meant we didn't have to install a line converter on one of the speaker channels in order to feed an amp or amps. Admittedly, I've not read through ALL of the posts in the electronics forum yet but has anyone figured out how to do this on the Ranger yet? I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination and vehicle design is crap when it comes to audio reproduction but I do appreciate a well executed soundstage nonetheless.
