Getting my ducks in a row as to upcoming rv set up...
Before I start pulling, prying, ripping, prodding, cursing, how does the kick panel, drivers side, come out so I can access the wiring for the brake control. (yes..truck has tow package).
Don't see any hardware or push pin type attachments...so just pull r out ???

I am/was under the impression, from googling several info sites, that the wiring was located behind the kick panel, and just wanted some info on removing the panel.
Not going to be using a Ford controller, but that is not relevant.
And in that U-Tube video it was totally unclear as to where the wiring was unless you listen to a 3 second blurb that "the wiring is located here" and then shows 2 wires being pulled from behind the OBD plug.
But, it did help as now I know how to remove the kick panel.

Well, found the wires, taped to large wire bundle as shown in another video......and, don't have to remove the kick panel. accessible from under dash.
Think the only reason to remove kick panel is if your installing the Ford control where you have to run wire back to rear of cab.
