Hmm, I did get those stainless steel eyebolts but decided not to use them. I was going to use them on the tailgate pillar but later decided to use eyelets that could fold down (yet to be installed).I have M8 eye bolts in the font 4 above the tie downs. so up front I have 2 eyebolts and the tiedown on each side.
I also keep bungie cords in mne all the time for quick tie downs. makes it quick to lock down say a gas can or propane can. and given NH weather I filled both this week.
But huge "derr" moment for me with your suggestion!
Sheesh, I can use those nice eyebolts like you have. I swear, if it's not part of my original plan, I just don't see it.
I always keep ratchet straps in the truck, along with some two 20 foot lengths of 6 mm rope but no bungees yet, need to order some. What lengths do you find the handiest? I was also thinking some extra fat ones to snug some things very tightly.
Maybe like teese?

They come in 18" to 72" lengths!
