Nice browning!
Ohh yeah, Love my Browning's it's a 1960 A5 Belgium light 12. It's a 61 year old gun and it will eat rounds like cookie monster.

Highly reliable and more than I can say of the newer guns. Bought a new benelli 12 gauge 2 years back and had to send it back three different times for jamming rounds. Finally just got a refund as I got tired of it.

Nice buck! Looks like a shotgun is the right choice in that thick brush.

How low does it take you to peel the plastidip? Do you respray it every hunting season?
Yeah the shot gun is a better choice trying to shoot these guys at a full run. Trying to hit a deer with a riffle in heavy woods that's running at top speed is nearly impossible.

The dip takes a little less than an hour to peel the bulk of it. The smaller areas around the trim and between the bed and cab takes a little longer as those areas are thin layers or over spray. I just take a huge bottle of goo be gone and spray those areas heavy, wait for a bit and take the pressure washer on the lowest setting and blow it off.

I have a vid from this week, but I can't upload it to the forum as it kicks it back for the file being too large.

Oh yea, we use deer meat all the time. Last week I broiled the loins wrapped in bacon, made a mushroom gravy and topped with sauteed onion, red bell pepper and garlic, wife made brussel sprouts with bacon and onion and had some crusty baked bread ??. I also came up with my own recipe for chilli, venison veggie soup with barley, wife makes meatloaf out of it. I only saw 1 deer this year and luckily it was a decent sized doe, got 35 pound of burger and all the back straps from her.

Yeah those remmington 11 models share the same John Browning design. My wife has a Remmington model 11-48 in 20 gauge and I love it.

Nice vertical pin stripping, but the choice of color leaves a bit to ponder.
