I still disagree with going to a 6 inch lift. For the rear it is lifted with blocks. Due to that you don't get any added travel for the rear. For the front you only add 2-3 inches at best but yet you lifted 6 inches? The math doesnt add up there. Also you had to do a diff drop and that has two negatives there as well. #1 you only lifted the diff by 2-3 inches at best. #2 the front driveshaft is now put at a hogher angle and will cause accelerated wear. Now for you this wont be an issue since you have a 2wd but the frame area for the diff is still super low.
I don’t need “travel”’per se. I just want the safest and biggest lift with best ride

If you want afest then do not exceed the 3 inch lift. The higher you go the bigger the chanve for a rollover. Physics at its finest right there.

With the Old Man EMU lift I dontbhave to worry about such since Old Man EMU did take the time to make sure the ride was going to be safe both on and off the pavement

All the other companies dont do too.much testing. They just go for fitment at best

there’s absolutely no reason not to go that high on a 2wd. It’s the exact same suspension minus the transfer case and axles. Anyway I already did it and it worked perfectly and handled like a dream on the 800 mile trip to Colorado and trail riding for a week through the mountains and back.

I loved it while I had it and if I end up in another ranger I’d do it again. I went with the RC 6” coil overs and in 1.5 years and 35k miles I had no issues. I’m in a ram rebel now but considering going back to a ranger tremor.

If I had the money just cuz I’d get the bds. I know people with bds on other trucks and it’s legit. That being said with what I was doing with my truck it would’ve been a waste to get a bds. I spent most of my time on the paved road and only needed limited off-road capability on the trails. There’s nothing wrong imo with RC and I’d buy them again without hesitation. If I lived in Colorado I’d probably spend the money on bds however if I lived where’s I’d “need” a bds I’d probably have a better off-road rig than a ranger anyway.

I cut off the differential mount bracket from the lift kits crossmember then it was a direct bolt on
