2016 like to sift to sport mode by itself

Hi,
I read bout this problem and believe I now have it. I need to get the parts to do the fix. Can anyone advise what to get and where to get it? I am out of the usa now and will need to import them. Nobody here knows anything about this. Thanks in advance for your help.

It needs to have a proper diagnostic, check for codes and view Live PID data, I suspect it is in the Transmission Range sensor or cable adjustment.
Since you have a the 2.0, I believe you also have the TCM for transmission control vs incorporated into the PCM as the 2.3.

Possible, when it does it while driving, slightly rock and push the gear lever forward (in the Drive) detent to see if that makes it shift back out of sport mode.
That should cover anything mechanical except checking fluid level, electrically it may be picking up incorrect gear position from the range sensor.

I am unable to get the wiring diagrams for the ROW Rangers to actually see the control circuit so the above would be a good place to start, mainly pull any codes to help pinpoint.
