Okay, I'm looking at a used 2016 Lance Travel Trailer model 1995. Gross Dry Weight 4465 Lbs. Hitch Dry Weight 475 Lbs. I have a 2021 Ford Ranger lariat with a payload capacity 1490 according to the sticker inside my door jam. What do yall think? I'm not going to take it in the mountains, most if not all will be right here in Florida. I'm looking for honest opinions here as my safety depends on it..lol Thank you in advance

The weights your listing were most likely from the standard spec sheet when it was new and empty.
You need to consider adding weight to the tongue for the battery and propane tanks as they were probably not listed on the spec sheet as they probably were not installed at the factory, but at the dealer.
Battery and two filled 20 lb propane tanks will be about 100 lbs.....so now your tongue weight will be around 575. Trailer dry gross goes up by that amount also.
But, still well within the Rangers capability.....750lb tongue weight and 7500 lb gross trailer weight.
Proper weight distributing hitch set up and brake controller, and you'll be good to go.
I would advise you to check the tires for their age as anything over 7 years old needs to be replaced.....standard practice among rv'ers...I replace mine between 5-6 years just as a safety precaution.
Read thru the Tow Section...What are you guys towing section....lots of info and photos of what current members are towing.

We've towed our 2019 1995 over 18,000 miles with our 2020 Ranger. Travelled all over the west including over Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado (almost 11,000'). No issues. We use an Equalizer WDH hitch.

The 1995 tends to run light on tongue weight, so I suggest you get a tongue weight scale to keep an eye on it. Too light can cause instability. If you haven't already, check out Lance Owners of America for lots of helpful information. https://lanceowners.org/

It's an awesome trailer. Enjoy!
