2.5 fox+camburg uca or 2.5 fox+bds 3.5” lift or 2.5 fox+bds 6” lift…help me decide?

Yup but 100% would need to cut fenders or get that super sexy wide body set up.

Side question how do we get a wider rear stance? F150 rear axle?… obviously spacers or super negative offset wheels would be one way. However the proper way has always been a bit of a question mark for me…
I’ve seen that some just keep it narrow in the rear.. but I’ve always felt it’s a work inprogess kinda look to it.

F150 rear axle will leave you without ABS. You can find the info on here as at least one member has done the swap.

0 offset wheels and/or spacers for wider rear end.

Bajakits long travel is the real deal for off-road if you're in the southwest or somewhere that has the space to get up to speed.

I’m in hollister and the SF bay area regularly ? so it would be long weekend trips for Baja fun.

Start with Fox 2.5 and UCAs from Baja Kits and slowly build from there, that's what I'm doing as I don't feel like dropping an arm and leg on fiberglass work.

I am lucky that wifey understands that I don’t really buy myself anything.. so when I figure out some stupid way to spend money on my truck…. She gives me a pass since it’s basically the only thing I spend money on… but I can’t quite justify the Baja kits just yet… I don’t know enough about it and what I’d need as far as front coil over lengths..
My hope is that the 2.5’s “can be put on the baja kits (but I think I’d need some spec’d fronts to properly utilize the mid/long travel set up)
Also 5k a year in mods the wifey can tolerate… hurling 8-10k all at once… well that might put her in an extended time length bad mood.?.

Fox 2.5 front coilovers will work, Baja Kits prerunner is specced for drop in coilovers, no need to cut and remount front shock towers.

Buy Fox 2.5s from Accutune and they'll tune the shocks for your trucks weight (bumper, winch, etc.). As good as they are off the shelf, the valve stack needs some tuning, especially with a higher spring rate.

King works too, but I'm not sure they'd last as long as Fox before corrosion sets in (they salt the roads like crazy here).

This video is Bronco specific, but it's a good explanation for the two brands.

For future reference.. will getting the 0-3” adjustable 2.5 fox’s DSC coilovers be able to install onto the Baja Kits? (I’m assuming I’d have to get them rebuilt to take advantage of getting longer travel.)

im very new to mid/long travel suspension.. so I approach this new adventure as if I have no idea what so ever.. (my background in suspension was geared more towards hobby road racing or nice hill drives.)

have you heard of RPG and Wicked creations.. they seem to have a LT kit available aswell

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Kings and I see them blues peeking out from behind the wheels of several trucks that are local in my area.. seem to be an obvious favorite around here.

RPG is similar to Baja Kits and APG. APG was offering to do it all for you which is why you've seen a few more of those. I've seen the wicked creations, probably the biggest lift outta them for the front. The rear looks like a sick package, but I think I'd get a local shop to 4 link instead of 3 link, just a bit stronger.

Haven't seen enough comparison, but there's more long travel rangers on the Facebook groups.

Personally I'm waiting on Fox 2.5 14" bypasses to put into a bed cage.

King seems good. When ordering bypasses the local shop I went thru recommended getting Kings cera-coated to protect them from the elements. Would be roughly as expensive as Fox then which come cera-coated from the factory.

You can keep 18s, if you look at the details online they mentioned tire size fitment. Most people seem to go 35s bc they spent like 10k so why not I guess? Wheel size shouldn't matter, it's more tire clearance.
