Does anyone know exactly how long the 12v sockets stay active after shutting the engine off? I have a dashcam and I want to make sure the battery doesn't drain.

2hrs by default. You can reprogram in forscan, but I tapped a switched circuit in the fuse box for mine

Doesn't sound like that should cause any battery drain issues although it is a bit longer of a delay than I would like.

Cheers!

Yeah, I doubt it would be problematic, but my cam goes into parking monitor mode when the power is cut so I needed to wire it to a switched circuit!
