Has anybody done an aftermarket intercooler upgrade? We'd like to be able to take our Ranger into Mexico, where good fuel is not always available, and we'd like to minimize the computer pulling timing and boost, as well as protecting the engine as best as possible.

Where would be a good spot to put it? I don't want it in the bed. I want to keep the spare tire stowed in the OEM location. I might be willing to give up the exhaust system.

Yesterday I bought my wife a new 2021 Ranger, so today I ordered her new tires and wheels. 17x8.5 Method 305 NV wheels (titanium with black rings), 285/70R17 load range "C" BFG All Terrain tires, mounted and balanced with new TPMS sensors and black small-diameter splined lug nuts.
