^ This is the sensation i'm feeling. I'm going to try driving in tow mode as another poster suggested since that will make it hit every gear instead of skip shifting to see what happens. Haven't gone anywhere to try it yet, weather is terrible out. My mudflaps came in yesterday but i don't want...
Think a heavier brake pedal return spring would help feel? Do new rangers even have one? I get out of my International after driving all night and into the ranger for the drive home and have to be real careful not to put myself through the windshield at the first traffic light stop ha ha!
I was wondering if anyone has tried using the SuperTrapp muffler with the adjustable diffuser packs. They seemed to be real popular back in the 90's, I was thinking do a muffler delete and put the SuperTrapp on the end installed in place of an exhaust tip. Then you could adjust the diffuser pack...
Good idea! i will try it tomorrow also and see what happens. It is just enough of a vibration to be annoying. I did also notice that when the auto stop is on that it doesn't vibrate every time, but with it turned off, it does it every time. It also doesn't seem to do it when turning hard right...
Looking forward to seeing your results. I'm on vacation next week, so i will have time to do some investigating myself. On the drive out to work tonight i was trying to pay attention to what was going on when it did it's little shudder. It seemed to come on right at the the time it skip shifted...
Wow your truck looks great! This is the route i'm going to go. Slight front end lift with better shocks and slightly taller tires look perfect for what i'm going to do with this truck.
True Commbubba19, but i wanted to try small changes in the pressure to see if there was a sweet spot not only in regards to the vibration, but also in ride quality and fuel mileage.. Going to start with baseline of the recommended pressure of 30 psi cold ( Bridgestone tires) as on the door jamb...
My air pressure was high in my tires also. First, i lowered them to 36 cold, drove for a few days. Still did it. Then i lowered it to 32 cold, drove it a couple days, still vibrated on takeoff. It was worse when outside temperature was lower.. It did not seem to exhibit this behavior when...
I am experiencing the same thing in my ranger, plus several other issues. I have owned it a week today. Feeling very depressed over it driving home from work tonight, Having owned many, many Fords over 40+ years, this is my first brand new one, I have had 0 issues with any of my previous ones...
Just ordered the driver side box yesterday, it is perfect for my needs. Going to get the passenger side too eventually. I had the built in factory boxes in my old Avalanche and found them invaluable. These will serve a similar function. I can see this place is going to cost me money ha ha!
I have found the best solution for me is just picking up a old utility trailer and setting it up to haul the kayaks/canoe. Easier on back, leave them on trailer for storage, frees up bed for gear. Drawback is you need room to park trailer, and that can be a problem for some. Also, if your canoe/...
I just discovered the same thing on my newly purchased new 2019. I will try shimming the mount first, then trimming the rubber bumpers second if needed. This website is a fantastic source of info for these trucks!
Hello all! My name is mike, i just purchased a new 2019 Xlt sport 4wd crew in shadow black last week and just found this site. So much great info here i had to join! I have owned fords my whole life, but this is the first brand new vehicle i have ever purchased. My other 2 fords i currently own...
