Well, I got a reply from my dealer. They put in a query to Ford themselves and it looks like whoever is in charge at Ford HQ has put in a stop order on all work on my vehicle and a technician is gonna be sent out to take a further in depth look at this issue.
So....this is gonna be interesting.
Kind of a shitty update, but its mostly inconclusive. The guys at the dealer couldn't find any issues regarding the random acceleration while the vehicle was at a stop. They ran the engine code and the only thing they found was an issue with the gas tank system. Something about the purge valve...

I wonder what the msrp is gonna be. My XLT 302 with fx4 had an msrp of 45k up here in Canada. It's gonna be an interesting seeing the price difference between the tremor and the Tacoma TRD pro which I believe slots in at 55k ish cad.
Somehow found a 2019 Ranger XLT 302a in saber with fx4 for 35,000 Canadian rupees. Original msrp of 45k cad. Was on the lot for an entire year according to the dealership. Apparently saber is not very desirable in Canada. Didn't really negotiate too much, just went a little off the advertised...
