  1. Dash and console applique

Anyone install the autostop eliminator after the dash kit? Seems like the gaps are small between the panels you pop to install the eliminator. I'd hate to buy it and ruin the wooddash trim pieces.
  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Finally got around to getting it leveled. Definitely improved the driving quality and bounce. RC 2.5in level
  3. Paint issue

Luckily I don't have that issue but the front bumper is another story. I found a spot under the drivers headlight that wasn't painted or the paint came off when assembling the bumper. I also seem to get a lot of chips and small wite specs all over the front bumper. It seems like the paint...
  4. Rear Slider Window External Seal

Mine looks just like that as well. Same spot on the left side and so far no leaks since I got the truck in March 2019
  5. Help Me Decide Factory Hitch Install

For those of you who installed the factory hitch, how difficult was it? From what I gather, I need to be very cautious removing the bumper pad. The directions a forum member uploaded don't look too bad. I'm thinking about doing this myself since I've got the time now and don't feel like paying...
  6. Show us your touch up before and after.

Yeah I used their touch up paint pen. I should've mentioned that when I had the left side of my bumper repainted. I suppose a headlight clip is the culprit.
  7. Show us your touch up before and after.

So I noticed you had a chip near the side of the drivers headlight where it meets the fender panel. Interesting because I had the same exact chip. It was the same location and looked exactly like yours in size and shape. I'm assumed a factory defect from the beginning but I think your pictures...
  8. Show us your touch up before and after.

So after my horrible attempt to touch up that spot on my bumper, here's the update. I had the body shop at the dealer sand, respray, and clear the left side of the bumper. They also took care of 2 rock chips in the hood that missed the deflector. Out the door it was $424 after taxes. I honestly...
  9. Ford oem bug deflector

So I actually put my cones on with the sticky part attached to the deflector itself. I only did that so it doesn't mess up the paint for some reason (my luck it would, somehow). Anyways no problems putting the cones the other way 9,500 miles later.
  10. Wow! Evolution!

Yup, no more crawling through the sliding window with the new Ranger. I haven't tried yet but, it came in handy once or twice with the only body style.
  11. Ford oem bug deflector

I think mine must be broken then. A crow killed itself the first week of having mine installed. Flew right into my deflector and got stuck. Good thing was the deflector won the battle and not a scratch.
  12. Show us your touch up before and after.

Ok so here's the follow up with everything I've done to try and blend in the spot I burned through the clear. I've only got a few coats of paint on it. I'll wait for the paint to cure properly then add some clear coats to the final product. Not too bad but not perfect. Maybe a body shop can sand...
  13. What did you do to your Ranger today?

    Yeah seriously:headbang:
  14. Show us your touch up before and after.

I may attempt to do that with the clearcoat. See if I can blend it better then compound it level. My main concern is just getting the paint to match. It seems that using minimal paint for each brush stroke blends it better. Sometimes dabbing it works but it's hard not to get globs. The saga...
  15. Show us your touch up before and after.

I know you really can't tell in the picture but I took the tape off and it looks surprisingly really good. I still have to add another 2 coats to give it 5 and then smooth out and add some clear. So far fingers crossed.
  16. Show us your touch up before and after.

I'm in the Tom's River area. I'm currently trying to finish my last year of college then move out of state. It's getting too expensive to live here. I'm just not sure where I want to move though. I'm all over the place between wanting to go here and there. Thanks for the help. I'll post my results
  17. Show us your touch up before and after.

I'll try to get a picture up, I'm currently at work mulling over my screw up. My neighbor happens to work at a body shop so I might try to get him to look at it/fix. I'm figuring if I can't blend in the touch up, respraying is my only hope.
  18. Show us your touch up before and after.

Alright so I got a little dilemma here. I had a nasty rock chip I tried sanding down, touching up and clearing over in magnetic. Well my luck, I sanded through the clearcoat into the paint in a 1'' circular area. Any ideas to blend in/fix as best as possible? I got 2 coats of magnetic on the...
  19. Spray In , Drop In, Factory Which bed are you?

So before I got mine sprayed (Rhino Liner), I removed my drop in bed liner and the liner piece that goes over the tailgate. I took the 8 screws and screwed them into the metal tailgate piece that gives you access to the rear camera housing. Then I added 2 of my own screws and some washers until...
