Did you install yourself or have a shop do it? I like the extra protection from the kit to cover the bumper. Only problem I'll have is the patience to get the film to line up properly.
Anyone buy the clear headlight protection film? Wondering how it holds up to rocks and anything else that gets thrown in the way of the lights. If so, which brand did you buy from.
I figured it out. I taped the passengers side metal pins for each wire as one bundle instead of separately. It was causing my puddle lights to ground out. Stupid error on my end lol.
How are yours holding up? I tried installing mine last night and they worked fine. Then this morning I folded my mirrors in and now the lights don't work. They briefly flickered on and shut off immediately and that was it. I cant even seem to get them out either to check for loose connections
I too have a rattle that I believe was coming from the front camera housing. I've tried holding it firm against the windshield to no avail. I still get the noise and at this point I think it's coming from overhead console. I wouldn't think the camera is actually loose inside the plastic...
Never mind, I can confirm that they do in fact drain. I decided to go out in the thunderstorm and drill the holes through the bedliner and put the tubes through that way instead of curving over top the bedliner. It wasn't draining the way I had it curving over the drop in liner. After drilling...
I just put mine in through the hole above where yours is in the picture. I was able to stick my hand behind the drop in liner and manage to route the tube through. Forgive my ignorance but do these locations actually drain to somewhere?
I had similar issues when installing mine too. I couldn't get the 3m tape to stick on the drivers side along the black door trim where it meets the rear door. I ended up cutting the 3m tape off and putting my own 3m tape on. It works now. I also had some jagged ends I trimmed up with a scalpel...
I just got the gator efx. I opted to not remove the bedliner and did a little trimming. It was a pain in the a$$. I did patch up the spots where I trimmed and used some black silicone.
I got the JD Power letter in the mail for a survey to win $100k. Took almost an hour to complete since it's very detailed but it's how cars get awards. I won't win though
Hopefully no damage. I killed a bird within the first 3 weeks of getting my truck. I was on my way home from school and this dumb bird flew right into the grill. It got stuck between my hood deflector and the grill. I pulled over, popped the hood and the bird fell out. Needless to say I spend a...
For anyone that installed the factory hitch, is it possible to install it without taking the bumper off like the directions say? I don't see why you couldn't unbolt the existing trailer hooks that are on the trucks without the tow package and then just bolt the new trailer hitch to the frame.
Rob, the Ford hood deflector is really easy to do. I bought and installed myself. I like how Ford gives you clips for the hood deflector instead of drilling the actual deflector into the hood like older Rangers. There's a good video on YouTube of a guy doing the Ford one for his F150. It's the...
What did your door rattles sound like? I keep getting a popping sound coming from what sounds like the front center of the truck. It sounds like the noise is in the area of the camera on the windshield. Weird thing is that the truck will only rattle when I turn to the right. It doesn't do it...
So far no issues for my Ranger.
Injectors: No problems
Frame: Rear passenger's door is off by a little but it doesn't bother me. Hardly noticeable anyways
Paint: I found a few tiny scratches here and there but nothing a little clear coat pen, compound, and polish can't fix. Other than that, the...
Traded in my 2015 BMW 328i for the Ranger. I had a 2006 Ranger before but the engine died and I somehow landed on a BMW. Needless to say, I was planning on getting the Ranger when it came back out. Now I have more features than my BMW did
