I've always been a GM guy until this Ranger. Was pretty disappointed that the dealer tried one TSB to fix the startup vibes before they gave up. I ended up having to fix myself which makes me Leary of the 2024. They can't/won't fix their bad designs once you purchase.

Ford purposely has their shafts about 15 degrees out of phase. Probably part of our problem. If I was to re-balance I would buy another from a used truck salvage and re- clock into phase and then balance. Ford also doesn’t have the pinion flange parallel to either the front shaft angle or the...
The problem most of us are having with changing the shaft to the one piece is not wanting to have our factory warranty voided from having a non-factory shaft installed. The service manager at my dealer said Ford would more than likely void the warranty if I install the one piece. I want to but...
A 1 inch increase in rear height would actually take the driveline numbers the wrong direction according to Dana driveline calculator. The rear needs to drop to lower the driveshaft angle a couple degrees.
My 2022 also has the takeoff shudder. Had it into the dealer for the TSB for the pinion shim. I measured the angle before taking it in 6.10º. After I got it back they said they used a 1.5º shim because the measured 7º before the shim was installed and said they saw 5º after. Keep in mind they...
