Stock Springs manage to be floaty and especially Jarring over even small bumps, are there any replacement struts/springs out there that give a good ride without the kidney punches?

So, i don't get what the limitations are. Manual says around 1800lbs without an electical brakes on the trailer. Can you just plug the 7 pin cable into the truck from the trailer and the trailer brakes will work? Or do you need to change something?
