This is the pump that XDI worked with me on getting for E85 on my truck. The truck has been the fastest Ranger to our knowledge out there with basic bolt ons and full body weight with heavy 20" wheel and tire combo. This coupled with a tune and you could be in the high 12's with the correct...
So almost was defeated with some horrible passes tonight and then I said...let’s try to figure out what is slowing me down. I’ve been working with a few prototype pieces and one of them I believe was choking it down a lot...by removing one shield I figured out what was costing me a full second...
So I am approaching the 12's and need every trick I can. Performance wise it's all there for what is needed. I'm on stock aluminum wheels now and took off the running boards. Wasn't sure if the original wind deflector under the bumper or anything like that would benefit that extra little bit...
Getting closer. A few more hits and I think the launch would have gotten us a little bit closer to the goal. Ken Bjønnes from Palm Beach Dyno has this little 4 banger making steam!!!
Finally got the truck in the lanes. I am very happy with how this truck is performing and street manners feel like stock until you lay into the throttle. This is PalmBeachDyno tunes and mods are cat back muffler shop exhaust, AFE charge pipes, drop in filter, 1 step colder plugs, and a high...
In this video you will see some cool info and hyping of the new Ranger..also he lets the cat out of the bag on what is being done to the truck right now to set the bar. 350+ rwhp on e85 on factory size/weight wheels. Tuning this week and we will have it at the strip next Friday night for...
Just had some tuning done on the Ranger and she is a tire fryer!! very pleased so far with the results. I have a vendor that contacted me to set the bar on this platform and game is on. This data is all prior to that conversation and only the start. Attached is on 93 octane stock, tune, and tune...
Has anybody went down the E85 route with the new Ranger? Have E85 station near me and tuner that is great at tuning E85 vehicles. Just curious if the fuel system is up for the task at hand.
Had my local exhaust buddy fab me up a 3” cat back Magnaflow system. It is super quiet at idle and any speeds. Zero drone and unles ripped into is pretty mellow. He added a flex coupler and black tip to tie it all together. Tried tagging a video of it running but file was too large.
Has anybody modified the charge pipe where the BOV mounts? it restricts down and back up again before and after the BOV. I would assume it would definitely flow better. My thought is to make that center section out of exhaust piping so there wouldnt be a restriction. Obviously would need to make...
Just bought this truck last week and it’s almost where I want it. Tint, dyno tuned, color matched grille, level kit, and wheels and tires. Next is factory running boards, tonneau cover, exhaust, and some massaging of the intake piping. Love this truck so far!!!
