So even reading the trailing post I'm not still clear in terms of what is considered stiff/firm. I would say the stock ride feels most every crack but I'm not sure it that is "stiffness". The ride characteristic most noticeable to me is left to right and the opposite which is really only...
I really like the 303 Spray Wax, maybe my favorite of the 3 or 4 similar products I have tried. Too bad there's no "Fakespot" for YouTube videos. Spray wax and quick detailers is about as much work as I'm up to :) Current favorite detailer is the newer Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions 3-in-1...
I got a good deal IMO. Paid list with tax it was $890, got $210 for my points. Agreement with dealer was for me to do all the download, etc. up to the point of pushing the final button on the tool that actually did the install so the warranty was saved. My dealer has two locations, one is...
Wondering about this too. In the latest Roush email they claim only a little more torque I think 7 with the CAI. I was wondering how the tune would react to after the fact addition of the Roush CAI, Suspect the computer would do some additional learning. I have this on my list. I have the...
I know there is a sometime not so hidden group that really does not like CAI and such, but if Ford and Roush were worried about the impact of their non-stock air filters why would they offer the 3 year warranty?
That is what I have and its made by Borla - I think it sounds as good as any and to me thy all sound pretty much the same. Just got the FPP Tune (love it) but not sure what is next if anything - about $400 -$600 for bigger downpipe, about $450 for the Roush CAI....after that it gets a little...
I should have reviewed more of the content - just lazy - thanks for the pointer...I just couldn't understand how one could hear audible difference from the turbo. Can see the size difference and appreciate that impact.
I find this interesting now that I have the FFP Tune and Borla cat back but the Borla is 2.75" diameter so I guess I'd need an additional "adapter". Also curious as to how/why you can hear the turbo more?
That is the main reason I did all but the final step myself and as I've said it was trouble free. If you don't install the initial software yourself you wouldn't have a FFP account which you must have to do the initial download to the tool, so I suppose then the FFP account is held by the dealer...
Had the door open on the last step, not the first as it took about 20 minutes and did not use a battery charger either time - everything worked first time without any problems. Once it started both on performance install and the intermediate step where the tool records your vehicle info so it...
i wish I would have captured the screens on my phone but this is what it should show.
3. Select “PROGRAMMING” option from main menu
4. Select “Preloaded calibration” Option on ProCal 4, and Drag/Click to select the desired
calibration.
If you can't tell then its not there. WOW it makes a big difference as has been said in acceleration and shifting. Well worth the money....anyway.....I looked over the instructions and didn't see any way to verify that the tune has been installed. You own the tool so plug it into the OBDII...
You might reach out too. I got good responses from them. Under no circumstances should you pay for 5 hours. My contact with FPP said it should take about an hour. Here is the contact info to someone I was in contact with that was very helpful and was the one that said an hour. Can't hurt...
I was lucky I guess - did it all but the final step which I had the dealer do and he charged me $5 as it downloaded the tune in the time it took him to drop in the K/N. I did all the other steps myself as I knew my dealer didn't really want to and had never doing anything like it. Never used...
I have not been able to put many miles on mine since the tune but I agree about the light load/low speeds. Got about 50 miles with some interstate tomorrow so will be the first time above 40 mph.
