Does anyone know what the button with the "P" on it is? These are the buttons on the console of my Lariat. I know what all of them are except for the "P".
Around town means different things. I live in a rural area with 1 red light and 2 sets of RR tracks. Seven miles north there is a city that has every red light set to stop you, I don't spend much time there but visit twice a week. I'm getting 21.6 on the computer of my Lariat with 1100 miles...
I live in a rural area that has train tracks and when there is a train I don’t mind the engine turning off.
I have 2 medium cities close by that I visit once in awhile. Someone should be shot for the way the lights are set up. I use the auto stop, some of these lights are over 2 min long...
No towing, the boat weighs 17k and is 12 ft wide. But, I have just past 1k miles. About all I'll ever tow is a small trailer with a motorcycle, but haven't done that yet.
Well, I said I love the power that this truck has. I was reminded of that for the first time today. I own a boat about 40 miles away from my home. Most of the drive there is freeway except for the last 10 miles which is a 2 lane road with a speed limit of 55 mph. Almost never fails that...
I started with a 2010 Tacoma Access Cab with 2.7, 5 speed and 4x4. For 3 years a got notices about the rear springs, converter and frame problems. Toyota did nothing about it. Oh, almost forgot the clutch from Mexico that slipped that Toyota refused to acknowledge.
Was thinking of a...
I just turned 1k and am getting 21.2 mpg in my city driving with a Super Crew Lariat 4x4. My old Tacoma 4x4 2.7 5 speed gets 23 for same driving. But the Tacoma has no power and you really need some space to think about passing someone.
I'm happy with what the Ranger gets for mpg.
Another thing I do to help MPG is to use Sport mode sparingly. I noticed something yesterday about Sport mode, it doesn't turn the engine off when I stop. At least it didn't when I used it yesterday.
Also noticed after yesterday's trip the MPG is still climbing, it is now up to 21.2. I'm...
I have been keeping my foot out of it as I figured that is where it will drink fuel heavily. This is my first boosted vehicle so it is a little bit of a learning experience. For most of my city driving the vehicle seems to have enough power without a heavy foot.
Heck, mine came with a full tank of gas and washer fluid. The fit of parts is excellent, probably the best new vehicle I've ever had. No complaints from me.
I think the reason we're not seeing them is the dealers around here only have a couple and they're high end models. I was lucky, I found a Lariat with not to many options so I bought it. It's going to take probably the rest of the year before the dealers start getting Rangers in higher...
I just turned 900 miles today and I'm getting 21.0 according to the average fuel on the vehicle. This is a Lariat Super Crew cab, I'm running high test from Sunoco.
I have to say Ford did a good job with the Ranger. The 2.3 with 10 speed auto is a winner in my opinion, I can honestly say it never has to over rev to produce power. This is my first new vehicle in years and I'm impressed by it.
Was originally planning on an XLT but purchased a Lariat...
I originally was thinking of a Tacoma but I kept hearing about how the new ones are always running near redline. After a test drive in the Ranger I changed my mind and went Ford. The 2.3 has ample power and is always in the right gear. After 1 month of ownership I'm totally convinced I...
The Ranger I bought did not come with remote start but was told I could add it for $500. I did sign up for Ford Pass when I bought the vehicle and added the app to my cell phone.
To my surprise I noticed Ford Pass will remote start your vehicle. I tried it and it works. Anyone else...
