I had Hankook ATs on my Tacoma for 2 years. They were good on snow but terrible on wet roads and loud on the freeway. Don't know that I would ever buy another set of Hankooks.
I too am looking at raising the front end 2.5". I want to keep the original tires and just raise the front of the truck.
Talked to service about this today to find out if it will void my warranty. This came from the service dept where I bought my Ranger. By putting the spacer on if...
For most of my life I have gone back and forth between Ford and Toyota. Would you believe I owned 5 Rangers between 1986 and 2004? And throw in 3 Mustangs.
The Toyotas were the most dependable and I've owned 4. Three 4Runners and a Tacoma (the last) that I bought in 2012. However, the...
I'm not sure what comes in the tech package but having just purchased a Lariat over the XLT I can comment on the options I wanted and got.
Adaptive cruise control is a good one. After renting a vehicle that had it and driving 1000 miles I wanted it. Used to drive me nuts driving in traffic...
My last Tacoma sent me back to ford. A bad clutch at 16k that Toyota wouldn’t cover, bad leaf springs and catalytic converters that took 4 years to replace. Worst I can say about ford is every v6 I owned had gasket problems.
Give Ford a chance to fix the problem.
I've never been happy with Turtle Wax on a vehicle. The only product they have that I swear by is chome polish, use it on my MC and it's amazing on chrome.
One wax that I really like is Meguiars wax, I've used it for years.
I wanted the XLT up until I found out it didn't have the LED headlights or the sliding rear window. The dealer I went to did not have an XLT but he did have a Lariat without a lot of extras, I went that route because I never had a truck that wasn't spartan.
I originally wanted the XLT but ended up with a Lariat. Ford really needs to point out the differences between the models better. The LED lights were one of the requirements I had as were a few other things which made me choose the Lariat. Having owned some pretty spartan trucks I wanted...
I was on the fence deciding between the F150 and Ranger for awhile. The deciding factor for me was parking spaces seem to keep getting smaller, plus I have a friend with an F150 and watching him park made me decide Ranger.
Another factor was I have owned a 2010 Tacoma for 8 years. For me a...
I bought from stock. Every time I order a vehicle I end up waiting forever. This time I looked at what was in stock at several dealers and managed to find one close to what I wanted. Also felt it was time for some luxury in a truck so am very happy with my choice.
