The dealer had my vehicle all morning trying to figure out what is going on. Nothing they did changed a thing so they sent it to the next higher level and will call me to come back in when they have an answer to this problem.

I had auto update on. Once this is fixed it will be turned off. For 40 years I wrote software. Sometimes when you fix a problem and don’t test correctly the change creates problems like this. Doesn’t happen often but it does happen.

Sitting at my Ford dealer this morning for maintenance. I mentioned the sync3 issues and they confirmed it was a software update that caused this. The fix is being worked on was what they told me.

I test drove 2 vehicles before I made my choice. The first was a Lariat FX4 and I did not like the ride. The second vehicle was a Lariat without the FX4. Before I drove one mile I noticed a smoother ride, it came home with me.
