You will need to drive around 20 miles before the system will reset itself. This has been standard on every vehicle I have ever owns with TPMS.
There is no need to pay a shop to recalibrate the TPMS.
The main difference I notice between my 2020 Ranger Crew Cab and 1997 F150 Extended Cab (with 3rd door) is the overall length. But my 97 F150 had the long bed (7ft) and a home made cattle guard on the front.
Looks can be deceiving too. I had a 1997 Ranger sitting in my driveway when I bought my...
Every vehicle I have owned that has TPM system has always relearned on its own without me having to do anything except drive the vehicle for a few minutes.
That being said. I have not tested that on my 2020 Ranger simply because I let the dealership do my oil changes and tire rotations.
Maybe...
I'll have to tell all my fellow Army veteran friends that I have a squid launcher built into my truck
????
Yeah I'm gonna give you trouble but I'll still stick up for you if some civi messes with you.
Get as much RAM and the biggest hard drive you can afford. I made the mistake of buying a Dell with only a 256 MB drive and Windows 11 takes up most of the space which doesn't allow much room to install anything.
Well I don't see this working with Apple Car Play without connecting it to the inside with a USB cable.
Unless there is something I am missing with SYNC3 because I have to hook my iPhone to the vehicle by a USB cable to get Car Play to work.
I can't lie, I do miss my 1983 Ford Ranger with dual fuel tanks. The 4 cylinder would go for ever on both tanks.
The new Rangers are not much narrower than the 97 F150 I had and are real close to the same height. My 97 F150 was longggggg since it was the extended cab with long bed (7ft).
You must have had the transfer cases in low gear if all they would do was 25 MPH. The 800 and 900 series 5 tons were generally governed at 55 MPH with the transfer in high gear stateside and governed at 62MPH overseas.
I had to drive the HEMTT wrecker at times and hated it. Having the front...
The 800 and 900 Series 5 Tons worked well for cooking meals too. We didn't have to use the engine with the M88 Recovery Vehicle, the entire thing is an oven.
Unfortunately the feds frown highly on making your own ethanol fuel about as much as they do for making your own moonshine. Ya gotta pay the taxes to be legal.
And yes the only difference between the two is ethanol has a denaturing agent added to keep people from drinking it.
There is a big...
I always try to fill up at Sinclair stations here in Missouri since they have ethanol free premium. Quite a few of the MFA stations also have ethanol free gas.
For those that are stuck using ethanol gas in their small engines, I will suggest treating the gas with Sta-Bil 360. I ad it to my gas...
My truck definitely started applying the brakes right away, but it didn't take any time for me to push the brake pedal with my foot anyway. I was behind a semi few vehicles yesterday and we were basically coasting to slow down for a wide load. Then an idiot right in front of a semi that was...
I hauled a full bed load of wood chips/mulch this morning. After unloading all of that I got to looking and dang was the truck dirty. So it got a good washing today.
It was just a tad bit muddy getting in an out of the city yard waste dump after al the rain we have gotten lately.
I live in a small town of 1100 people that is surrounded by crop fields and woods. The rodents all come into town at harvest time and try staying through the winter. I have several cats inside plus we feed the feral cats outside.
Them evil tree rats all decided to move into town where they...
I have seen that happen first hand with some BNSF derailment crews. I won't say that all derailment crews did that or if any still do.
Part of the reason for that is the fact that the rail roads are also responsible for repairing any damage to properties along the rail road right of way that...
