  1. Did I just see a Maverick?

They've been out for a few months and are completely sold out. Ford nailed the Maverick.
  2. Buy 2021 on lot or wait for 2022 order

I don't know the numbers on X-Plan, maybe someone else can chime in. Do you have a time estimate on the 2022? Also do you have signed, FORMAL paperwork on the 22, so the dealer doesn't F you when it arrives?
  3. Officially a Ranger Owner

Welcome. Former 2nd gen Tacoma owner here as well.
  4. Factory Tow Package vs Added Hitch/Harness Capacity Rating

Also I want to state that this completely depends on your state and country. I know in Australia you have to go through strict inspections and engineering for something like this. My state of Georgia, wouldn't give a shit about any of this.
  5. Buy 2021 on lot or wait for 2022 order

There are deals to be had, you just have to look. I got 4400 off my Ranger. Also if you aren't in a huge rush, join the mustang club and get xplan after 90 days.
  6. Level kit...my shop will perform it. Is it pretty straight forward or is there any specific step that needs to be followed precisely?

Sounds right. It will be in the 200-220 range. And technically you should get a new nut.
  7. Tremor Upgrade UCA????

Your factory UCAs should have a part number on them. You can just check and cross reference to a regular Ranger.
  8. Fan re-engaging at idle

Mine is weird as well. It is cold out, the engine/ coolant is cold, yet mine fan is on high. I just figured this is a normal Ford thing.
  9. Factory Tow Package vs Added Hitch/Harness Capacity Rating

Good question. I have not seen any information that the towing package adds anything other than the hitch and wiring. But check you gauge cluster for the trailer sway and trailer safety options. You might not have them enabled. Maybe that is a Forscan exercise, but I am not sure.
  10. Stuck trying to install rear shocks

You can jack up from the frame for something simple like a shock install. 1. Lift as the manual tells you. 2. Place jack stands where appropriate. 3. Remove rear shocks. 4. Lift from frame to droop the axle. 5. Adjust frame height to center the shock holes. It is a fully boxed ladder frame...
  11. Ford Ranger cheap hit piece

Clutches pearls. Not a hit piece, it's the author's opinion. Ford has the Maverick now, so if he thinks the Ranger is too large, get a Maverick. For me the Ranger is about the same size as a 2004 and earlier F-150, so it fits that role well. F-150s are larger than older Super Dutys now. It...
  12. Tremor Mud Flaps

I installed the RokBlokz as well. I like them. Not too difficult an install and they are very subdued. For the Tremor you need the XL size.
  13. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I had the cops called on me doing that earlier. Whoops
  14. Winch setup for tremor

SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS? Run away from that shop.
  15. "Under Invoice" Dealers Question

To get a better deal you can always finance with the dealer, then refinance it after the purchase. That way they think that they will at least make money off of you in the finance office, since they gave such a large discount off the vehicle. I just did this and acted nonchalant about...
  16. Tremor Upgrade UCA????

    Is he lifted?
  17. Winch setup for tremor

I like either the Shrockworks ultra light or the Fab 589 kit. Both look very nice and owners have reported positive feedback here.
  18. Tremor Upgrade UCA????

I don't understand the issue, which alignment spec can they not get to? Camber and caster look fine. A little extra positive caster is helpful for lifted trucks on bigger tires. Toe is set with the tie rods.
  19. Rear tires excessive wear

Pics? How many miles on the shocks? Check them for leaking, wetness, or seaping. EDIT: stock suspension (Aka no lift?)? Wheel spacers?
  20. Tremor Upgrade UCA????

Positive caster is a good thing on a lifted truck. I ran 6 degrees positive on my lifted jeep.
