Looks good, nice job putting it all together. I was considering the same distribution box before my next round of lights I plan to put on the cap for camp lighting. Love the light force fascia too. They look original.
Awesome, glad u got it done. Getting the wires through was a big pain. Now u just need to figure out the switch install. I put the lightforce facia in tonight, just need to hook the switch up.
Nope, I was able to push from above. The arrow made it long enough. You will not be able to cut it without something long enough to reach. Your hand will be useless
I used an arrow with a hunting broadhead since they are sharp. To find the grommet go straight back from the battery and to the firewall it is down about 12 inches on the wall. After I made the cut in the rubber I was able to push a wire through from inside as a fish to pull the wires for the...
Finally got pod lights installed at my A Pillar. Used the mount by fordrangerlifts and mounted up a set of Rigid Industries flood lights. Don't plan on flying down trails so started with the floods. I ended up running the wires through the grommet on the drivers side that the hood release and...
I had a leer installed yesterday. They used a connector on the back side if the 7pin connector to get the 3rd brake light. They ran a dedicated wire to the battery for the dome light.
I have a smittybilt on my f150 currently. Just ordered my cap for the ranger and when that comes in, moving both my rtt and awning over to the ranger. Then i get to start on the interior. I have been really happy with the smittybilt so far and couldn't beat the price.
Not really sure actually. It is an 18 foot walk around and I tend to store stuff in the cabin area, so it is not light. Probably not balanced as well as it should be.
The 2.5 inch gets you within 0.5 inch of level. If you want it perfectly flat you would want the 3inch level. I tow so wanted to maintain some rake to the truck and may actually add an inch to the rear so I am level when my boat is attached. Hope that helps
All true, I for one, want a snorkel/air intake. Peace of mind. Have taken my f150 on trails and dropped into deeper than expected mud holes. Still have to understand limits though, and apparently alternator placement.
So as the new bumpers come out which will improve approach angle, it looks like the intrusion bars need to go away for maximum benefit. I know ,any have removed them anyway but what is the thought with a stronger bumper having the same impact as the intrusion bar? Since Ford is partnering with...
